SPECIFIC™ Hypoallergenic Treats are a tasty supplement to your dog's daily feed. The treats are ideal for dogs suffering from food allergies and/or gastrointestinal problems as they are based on hydrolysed salmon protein and rice. “Hydrolysed” means that the protein is cut into very small pieces which cannot be detected by the dog's immune system and therefore will not cause allergic reactions.
All the ingredients from SPECIFIC™ Hypoallergenic Treats are also used in the SPECIFIC™ hydrolysed hypoallergenic diets: Food Allergy Management and Allergy Management Plus. Thus, if your dog is successfully maintained on one of these SPECIFIC™ diets, it will without any doubt tolerate the Hypoallergenic Treats.
Important: It is recommended that the daily food ration is reduced corresponding to the amount of treats given (see the feeding guide).
